I am so honored and excited to announce that three of my poems are featured in the dark, visceral, creepy, and other-worldly Spring 2014 edition of Menacing Hedge. This group of work is so deliciously spooky, I can’t put into words how psyched I am to be a part of it!
The three poems by yours truly are all about the experience of being kind of a monster. I didn’t even realize that this was a theme in my poetry until I started thinking about working on a chapbook, at which point I had to go through my poetry and think about themes. Turns out I write about how monstrous I am pretty frequently. Which I’m sure says a lot about my psychological state, but I’ll leave that to scholars decades from now.
