SMART PHONE FAP APPS – When You Just Can’t Wait To Get Home To Jerk Off.

With technology moving ever faster, the porn world, which hasn’t even entirely caught up to the Internet boom as it fumbles over its DVD-boxed feet, will have to leap its next hurdle to keep up with the changing marketplace. So far, mobile apps have been a serious cinderblock in the road, as Apple continues to screen rigorously and other companies lag behind. But some perverts with Androids have gotten smart and started up MiKandi, the first official portal for adult apps on the Android. MiKandi will become a springboard for porn companies to make the leap to mobile devices and the millions who use them for all their naughty entertainment needs.

As the porn market was always meant to be, MiKandi is an opportunity to showcase capitalism at its very finest. With no restrictions, the portal will provide a selling space for entirely consumer-driven, no-holds barred smut in any and every creative format app developers can come up with. The foulest filth that law allows will be marketable in all kinds of new and inventive ways, many (hopefully) interactive. The only things banned from MiKandi, which plans to launch publicly this month but is invite-only at the moment, will be illegal apps. So, you know, no really disgusting trysts with llamas or anything. But every strictly legal thing is fair game; if there’s a market for it, there can be an app made to fit it. This could be huge.

And it could have in it the potential to change the power structure in mobile devices, and in the advancement of new technologies as a whole. It’s no secret that porn has always been a driving force in the evolution of entertainment gadgets, from VHS to DVD to almost-HD over Blu-Ray, and now that companies have an easily accessible highway into the mobile market, it seems the face of adult entertainment — and of mobile device marketing and consumption — could likely be altered if all goes well. The overthrow of the iPhone seems unlikely, but the Apple dynasty may have to switch up some of its tactics on the adult front. After all, when your top-selling device is being marketed specifically to tech-savvy consumers between the ages of 15 and 40, you’re going to have to concede that a lot of them are going to be wanting porn and other adult titillation, a lot of the time. As the population gets more and more attached to their smartphones — as their producers want them to — more people will be edified if they can reach into their pocket to grab their phone with one hand, and into the other pocket to play a little pocket-pool with the other hand. If you’re a smartphone producer, and your device allows for that, you’re going to have a whole lot more, more satisfied, customers climbing aboard your bandwagon.

But, given that apps have so far been such a regulated platform for gadgets, and that much money for big widget-makers and networks is involved, I see a chink in the awesome armor here. Legal issues in porn could become hot topics if Apple decides to get into the game but continues its prude picking-and-choosing. Lawsuits may abound, legislation may be thrown around. Censorship is not something we abide with grace here at WHACK! Let’s see what goes down. Steve Jobs, take note. WHACK! readers, you too. Keep us abreast of the MiKandi situation — this could get interesting. — Miss Lagsalot
