This Sunday, November 11, we’re going to enter “The Backward Slide” together! I’ll go live on Facebook at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time (3:00 Eastern/12:00 Pacific) to read Chapter 5 of my book, Watching Porn. The chapter is all about my own fraught relationship with porn early in my writing career—including the “women don’t like porn” stereotype and how it messed with my head. It’ll also touch on porn as de facto sex education, the difficulties inherent in creating fantasy situations using real people, and how I tried to make writing copy about boobs as feminist as I could. It’s gonna be a blast!
